Why? It's simple. This man did SO MUCH in the game of baseball, but because he just happened to gamble, he got banned for life. He's not even in the Hall of Fame. HE STILL f**kING ISN'T!! The all time leader in hits! NOBODY will even come close to that!! Yet he's not in the Hall of Fame because he placed bets. So many others have done worse and are in the HOF! They are supposed to be so ardent against juicing, yet David Ortiz--a known juicer--is in. I've always hated how they hold this moral high ground when it comes to Pete Rose, and sadly, football's taking baseball's method of punishing gambling harsher than anything else, even ACTUAL CRIMES! What makes me angry: when that day does come and Pete Rose is FINALLY in the HoF, he now won't live to see it. It's f**king disrespectful. Pete Rose deserved better from baseball.
