Noticeably absent is the WoF logo that once appeared behind the contestants. It has been replaced by an art-deco rendering of the iconic wheel. White, meanwhile, will no longer have to tap the giant screen behind her to reveal each letter. Sensors will now detect the movement of White’s hand to light up each consonant and purchased vowel. In addition to the new set, Season 42 will feature “tons of new prizes.” Among them will be sought-after tickets to NFL games and concerts featuring some of the biggest names in music.
