    WHITE PRIVILEGE ALERT!!!

I don't watch DWTS; I hate that show, and this gives me another reason to hate it. They are letting an infamous ex-convict on their show like this. Even crazier, she'll still have her ankle bracelet on! Let somebody of color try to do that show who has a record like that. They would be turned away so fast...

And of course, we get the tone deaf "She served her time" excuse. White ex-cons always get that sh*t; "Well, they served their time, they deserve a second, third, or fourth chance." But if someone Black does their time and gets out:  "Why is this criminal out of jail? This system is soft on crime!" And if they're Latinx, they'll be falsely accused of being "illegal" simply because they're not White and speak more than one language. I swear, If they let Anna Delvey on their show, I wouldn't be surprised if Casey Anthony's next. I wouldn't put it past them.

I am not at all surprised by this move. This is to attract more viewers.

  2. "The ‘Burbs Television Series Ordered at Peacock, Keke Palmer to Star"

    Quote

“Set in present-day suburbia, The ‘Burbs follows a young couple returning to the husband’s childhood home,” the series’ logline reads. “Their world is upended when new neighbors move in next door, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.”

Keke Palmer will star in the series as an undisclosed character.

Having Keke Palmer in the series will help to make it worth a watch.

The series will be filmed in Los Angeles at the same location — the backlot of Universal Studios Hollywood — as the original movie.

    That is very interesting.

  3. "After Decades in Show Business, Michael Keaton Would Like to Go By His Real Name"

The veteran actor’s birth name is Michael John Douglas. But as you may already know, we already have Basic Instinct’s Michael Douglas and talk show host Mike Douglas. As the Screen Actors Guild prohibits members from having the same professional name, Michael Keaton told People what made him pick his long-running stage name:

Then I would like someone to explain Peyton List and Peyton List

  4. "Wheel of Fortune Unveils New Set Ahead of Ryan Seacrest’s Sept. 9 Debut"

The following photos come courtesy of CBS Sunday Morning and ABC’s Good Morning America, which show the new set lit up in varying shades of blue. Noticeably absent is the WoF logo that once appeared behind the contestants. It has been replaced by an art-deco rendering of the iconic wheel.

White, meanwhile, will no longer have to tap the giant screen behind her to reveal each letter. Sensors will now detect the movement of White’s hand to light up each consonant and purchased vowel.

In addition to the new set, Season 42 will feature “tons of new prizes.” Among them will be sought-after tickets to NFL games and concerts featuring some of the biggest names in music.

The top picture is the old set. The bottom picture is the new set.

Some bacteria can’t be seen with the human eye, which means they may be missed by physicians when cleaning a wound.

Now, a new medical technology that uses fluorescent light has shown to be effective in detecting missed bacteria, according to new research led by University of Southern California, Los Angeles (USC).

This is incredible news that will benefit so many.
