I had a feeling that Sam Rosen would call it a career some time soon. That's a voice I've heard for several years. It's not just his longtime work with the New York Rangers. He's done other NHL work on national broadcasts before, I've heard him call NBA games before on TNT years ago, and he's done some NFL games on Fox as well. Sam Rosen has one of those great golden voices, and as a hockey fan, I'll gladly enjoy hearing that iconic voice for one more season in the NHL.

That familiar voice I hear mostly during Rangers games, is his?

Why am I not surprised that it's a Red Sux player who did this? That fan base is full of bigots and morons. And why am I not surprised that Red Sux fans are actually defending him and using the fact that the fan was heckling him as an excuse? There are other ways to respond to the fan if you're not going to ignore it. Using a bigoted slur is not one of them. Something tells me this isn't the first time he's used that slur. I see alot of deflection and distraction. He speaks about his future in a plain and generic way. Nothing specific. Then goes on how he will missing those he acted with. He says nothing about why he left. There's alot more to this than he is telling.
