  1. "The first step in fighting prejudice is taking a stand." I'm deliberately quoting an old PSA, but it's quite true. Becky Pepper-Johnson has a really good heart. Those transphobic middle schoolers deserved what they got.
This movie sure did take me on the ride of a lifetime. Its story of a detective/mother struggling to hold her own against all odds was something I could genuinely relate to, because I have a mom whose family loyalty doesn't have any boundaries.
  2. The impact of this blog is not forgotten. I generally felt everything as I read it.

This movie was a mess -- a complete and utter mess. The "affair" part of the movie could've been handled properly, but there was just too much going on all at once. The movie's only bright spot for me was Ashley Leggat, who's done three other Lifetime movies prior to this one. I hope that, if she chooses to do another LT movie, it'll be as a villainess, because that's what I wanna see the most from her.
  4. The Conners had a pretty impressive run. Hopefully it'll get a worthy sendoff.
  5. Jake, Lexi, and Devon being dolls could provide even more storytelling opportunities for the Chucky show.
  6. We got ourselves another crazy person. She should just be sent to jail without parole.
  7. Clout is clout. It's everywhere, and that makes me sick. The fact that Riley Gaines is influencing these younger girls to despise people who aren't like them just shows how too far gone she is as a person overall.
For a horror movie, it happened to lose the plot. I can't fault any of the actors for working with what they could, though, especially Maria Jose De La Cruz as Emily.
This film was insane all around, and I enjoyed it!
  8. With the Scooby-Doo franchise reaching its 55th anniversary later this year, this seems like a really good time.

I liked watching this movie entirely. Other than that montage scene, I didn't find anything wrong with it. Stacy Haiduk and Emily Miceli had wonderful onscreen chemistry as Eva and Jessica.

This movie gets an A for awesomeness! I enjoyed watching it for its family theme!
  11. May Marla Adams rest in peace. She definitely made her own mark on the world.
