Caufield is my favorite current player on the Canadiens, I remember how he broke out during that shortened 2020-21 season that saw the Canadiens reach the Cup Final. This is a wonderful gesture from Caufield, and it is very awesome of him to honor Johnny Gaudreau in such a manner.

What, AGAIN?! Seriously, what the f**k is up with Disney? And this comes EXACTLY one year after Disney and Spectrum were butting heads, and as someone who has Spectrum, I remember this so well. It had me scared to death, especially because, much like this year's dispute, it came just DAYS before the NFL season started. ESPN airs Monday Night Football, and has since 2006, while ABC has pretty much returned to the MNF spotlight in the last couple of years (MNF had aired on ABC from 1970 until the end of the 2005 season).

The first Monday Night Football game will air on September 9. If this dispute is anything like the one with Spectrum last year, watch Disney and DirecTV conveniently come to an agreement next Monday morning--HOURS before that first game starts, because they want that NFL money. That's how the whole sh*t between Disney and Spectrum ended. Though, again, if it's anything like last year, those of you with DirecTV:  prepare to lose some channels. We Spectrum people did. One of them was Freeform. Yeah, I don't have Freeform any more because of that drama last year, though to be honest, once Cruel Summer got canceled, I wasn't sweating it. I will miss the Halloween and Christmas stuff on that channel, though I think a lot of that can be found on Disney+. Even so, this drama is just crazy

I don't think you read the article. Only the response you replied to.

I am all for being inclusive. But to shame people for saying son or daughter is not right and will only create more anti-LGBT hate. It will create more Riley Gaines people out there. It's also going to cause many good people to be wrongly labeled as granspbobes, homophobes, anti-LGBT, and "othering".

I know you've said son or daughter before. I know you. According to this you're not inclusive and you hate LGBT community. While it doesn't say it outright, it's very much implied.

While I'm all for being inclusive, I am against making people feel like they've committed some terrible sin (shaming) for saying something that's as old as time.

This will also cause alot of grief. More grief than relief. Some people may get harassed for saying something as simple as "My son bought his sister a jacket today" and be labeled anti-LGBT.

This is why alot of people are raging about "woke". It's because some people take being woke too far to the point it creates more hate and a rebellion against being woke.

I just now read it, and yeah, the only way saying "son" or "daughter" can be considered harmful is in the name of transphobia. Look at Elon Musk. He has a trans daughter who he STILL dead-names. Hell, the reason why that f**ker changed "Twitter" to "X"? The X stands for his trans daughter's dead-name. Like I needed another reason to never call Twitter "X." But the Vermont law doesn't even mention that. They're basically saying to use gender-neutral terms just because. Do they really even care about inclusivity? Based on the article I read, they're just acting like they care about inclusivity just to look good.

Yeah, this will definitely cause people to pick on anything LGBT and to pick on the Woke movement. Vermont dropped the ball here.

I am all for being inclusive, but this is going too far. It will only serve to bring more hate on the LGBT community and more people crying "WOKE! WOKE! WOKE! WOKE!". The types that will use this to create more of a bad aura for wokeness.

Those people crying that can go cry in the corner somewhere. This is definitely another positive step in the right direction. We need more inclusive methods like this.

"Asking for grace"? I hate statements like that. To me that says that Nikki will stay with Artem and try to "work it out." No. You leave a**h**es like that. If you don't, it'll only get worse. People always say, "Well, it's hard for women to get out of relationships like that." No, it's not. It really isn't. And here's the thing. We all know that Nikki and John Cena used to be a thing, and a lot of people weren't happy with the way Nikki ended things with John. I truly think John was better for Nikki than Artem is. Here's hoping Nikki rips the band-aid off before she ends up having to put literal ones on her body.

I CRIED OVER THIS! I heard last night that there was a possibility that the Gaudreau brothers were killed but it hadn't been confirmed. Sadly, it has. I didn't know about Matthew's playing, but Johnny--oh man. I watched him for years with the Calgary Flames. I remember his greatest hits, and yes, unfortunately, I remember that 2019 postseason where poor Johnny couldn't buy a goal as the Flames were defeated soundly by the Colorado Avalanche in Round 1. The first thing that entered my mind was Johnny's overtime goal in Game Seven in Round 1 against the Dallas Stars. It was a Sunday filled with Game Sevens in 2022, and that game was the last one. It would be the last big act he would perform for the Flames.

He was called Johnny Hockey for a good reason. The kid was damn good. I wish I could have seen his brother in the league, that would have been so amazing. Thank you so much, Johnny. RIP to both brothers, and prayers to the Gaudreau family and the close friends of the brothers.
