I know about Archie Panjabi because of The Good Wife (never seen the show, but I know it), and I've seen her in a few things. She has that look and demeanor to play a villainess, so I was so excited when I read this news! I have a feeling that Panjabi's going to play one of the very few characters I know about: The Rani. I know very little about Doctor Who, but I know that the Rani is the most dangerous villainess in that show's history, and she was originally played by the late, great Kate O'Mara. I think Panjabi will be playing that character, and I can see her really knocking it out of the park if that's the case!

And of course, we get the tone deaf "She served her time" excuse. White ex-cons always get that sh*t; "Well, they served their time, they deserve a second, third, or fourth chance." But if someone Black does their time and gets out: "Why is this criminal out of jail? This system is soft on crime!" And if they're Latinx, they'll be falsely accused of being "illegal" simply because they're not White and speak more than one language. I swear, If they let Anna Delvey on their show, I wouldn't be surprised if Casey Anthony's next. I wouldn't put it past them.
